i see you in the mustard yellow dimples of pin-striped petals
i hear you in havoc wreaking silence dancing round lash closed night
i feel you in canyon carved creases painted into the tiniest curve of my back
i taste you in air full of sun ripened strawberries and musky lavender
i smell you in wrinkled sheets of sandstone brown and first love
you are the seasons of feast and famine holding hands with joys chased by sorrows
lightning bugs against heaven’s curtain of black
and symphony set aflight by wind playing upon the strings of the spider web.

you set me free
